A1 Positive Recycling are a registered non-profit Social Enterprise company providing training and voluntary employment opportunities within a supportive work environment for people experiencing mental ill health and other disadvantaged groups since 1997.
A1 are looking for people with waste management experience & people with some business acumen to help in the early stages with practical-hands-on-help & support those that come on board to be part of the Environmental Team will gain practical-hands-on-skills & Qualifications from NVQ Level 1 to level 4 through our funders the Scarman Trust, people with financial expertise are also needed to act as treasurer, A1 are the only Social Enterprise in the UK who have a blue print of how the Waste Electrical, Electronic, Equipment directive can Positively work here in the UK starting within Exeter as a pilot project to show how a working model can reduce, reuse, recycle . The current market value of this industry currently stands at over £250+Billion Pounds a Year, We stand to loose this Market due to a large lack of Skills & unless A1 help to close this ever increasing Skills Gap in the UK we stand to loose a vast market share in the Electronics industry.

A1 Positive Recycling is establishing a funding stream through the recycling and reuse of IT equipment, mobile phones and ink & toner cartridges to fund an alternative technology/education center for the South West of Englandalternative technology centre for future generations. The centre will support vulnerable adults including those with learning difficulties, although all are welcome. Our aim is to teach practical-hands-on-skills, to educate and empower.
